Recommended Specification

The ideal unit for your own personal use is very much dependent on how you mostly travel to your destinations and whether you wish to have a portable device with you at all times.

For car travel you should consider a dedicated Sat Nav unit for your vehicle. Please see the recommended specification below.

For a portable Sat Nav solution you should seriously consider a Smartphone GPS Unit due to its small size and the fact that you probably carry your phone nearly everywhere witth you. However, this is an expensive option as you have to buy a bluetooth GPS receiver and often subscribe to a navigation package from your phone service provider. These units will also work in your vehicle as well.
