2 - Power User
Recommended Specification
Power users
will need a high specification mini hard
disc MP3. This type of player has been
driven by the success of the market leading
Apple i-Pod, which has led to a huge collection
of accessories becoming available that
are all designed to enhance the listening
and viewing experience of the user.
Mini hard
disc MP3 players usually feature a larger
screen than micro disc units and also
offer more amounts of massive memory.
Their larger screens are great for viewing
video files and helping you select your
music files. However, they do drain batteries
at a faster rate than smaller screens.
This is compensated by higher capacity
batteries and in combination with 2.5
inch screens it means that these MP3 players
are significantly bigger and heavier than
micro disc units.
The batteries
are made from Lithium Ion that are charged
via USB cables connected to computers
or a mains adaptor (sometimes via a cradle).
