Step 2 - Light User

Recommended Specification

If you are a light user then you need to carefully consider whether the cost of a higher specifiction model is actually worth the extra money when it is unlikely that you will actually use the extra features.

It therefore makes more sense for you to work out what your listening needs will be in terms of both music capacity and battery life and then buy accordingly.

Ideally you need a small unit that you can easily carry around with you and use either around or away from the home. If you intend to use your MP3 player away from home then a unit that uses a standard battery will ensure that you can always carry on listening to your music on the move without relying on a charger (USB or mains) by using a replacement battery.
