Step 2 - Action Photography

Recommended Specification

Action photography requires a super-zoom camera capable of fast shutter speeds supported by an image stabilisation system.

The best image quality is delivered by digital SLR cameras as they feature higher shutter speeds than compact cameras. Their exposure settings are also very accurate as they measured the light through the lens itself before the picture is captured.

There are some very good super-zoom advanced compact cameras on the market but a digital SLR cameras will always deliver higher quality images.
